MEMORY  Send This Review to a Friend

I’ve already forgotten “Memory.” There is little worth remembering about this forgettable mishmash of a story, directed by Bennett Davlin from his novel.

If you must have more detail, Billy Zane plays a doctor, Taylor Briggs, who researches aspects related to memory. When he is infected by something that touches his skin while in Brazil, strange things begin to happen. His mind transports him into scary situations that make him wonder what’s going on. As for the audience, it isn’t worth expending much brain power to try to figure anything out.

Obviously, there are ominous events from the past that must be disgorged, and the film gradually builds toward them. One of the sad aspects of this misfire is that Ann-Margret has a thankless role. It would be so nice to see her in better surroundings. A 3210 Films and Echo Bridge Entertainment release.
